Lehi holds the Region 3 boys golf team lead through eight weeks, averaging 279.0 strokes per round to Lone Peak's 281.6, according to standings reported by the Deseret News.

The 2.6-stroke gap separates the only two area schools in realistic contention for the region title. Corner Canyon sits third at 283.0, American Fork fourth at 289.0 and Skyridge fifth at 293.0.

Lone Peak owns the individual leaderboard. Junior Blake Brown, the defending 6A state champion, leads Region 3 with a 65.6 stroke average. Corner Canyon's Drew Wilson is second at 66.5, Lone Peak's Ryder Huish third at 66.8 and Lehi sophomore Crue Harward fourth at 67.0.

Huish fired a 66 at the Monday, Sept. 21 tournament at Riverbend Golf Course to claim medalist honors. Brown and Lehi's Adi Notoa each shot 67, followed by Wilson at 68. Lehi loaded the leaderboard behind Notoa: Harward and Jordan Ofahengaue finished at 69, while Owen Combs posted 71. Lone Peak's Noah Nelson and Kaimi Selss each carded 69, and Skyridge's Jraice Finau shot 71.

The team race tells a different story than last season. At the 2025-26 state championship, Lone Peak finished second and Lehi placed 15th. This fall, Lehi has closed the gap. Coach Johnny Revill signaled the shift after the Pioneers won their first-ever Region 3 match on Aug. 31 at Thanksgiving Point, telling the Lehi Free Press, "Our goal has always been to elevate our game to meet the standard they set … Competing against the best has pushed us harder and we are incredibly proud to finally be standing on the same level with them."

Harward has been Lehi's anchor all season. He leads the Pioneers' individual standings at 67.0, followed by Ofahengaue at 68.5, Simon Caceres at 69.5, Notoa at 70.3 and Combs at 71.5. Skyridge's top scorers are Finau at 70.5 and Klive Fuhriman at 71.0.

The UHSAA season-end date and state entry deadline is Oct. 6. The 6A Boys Golf State Championship is scheduled for Oct. 12-13 at TalonsCove Golf Course in Saratoga Springs.
