Utah County voters in Alpine, Highland, Cedar Hills and Lehi can see what their Nov. 3 general election ballot will look like.

The Utah County Clerk's Office released the official sample ballot, listing more than a dozen races and two constitutional amendments for the county's more than 371,000 registered voters.

Here is what is on the ballot.

U.S. House District 4

Incumbent Rep. Mike Kennedy faces Democrat Jonny Larsen, Libertarian Taylor Wright and unaffiliated candidate Steven Burt. Kennedy won the Republican nomination at the April 25 state convention with 78.7% of delegate votes, the Deseret News reported. He filled former Rep. John Curtis' seat after Curtis launched a Senate bid in 2024.

State Senate District 21

Sen. Brady Brammer, R-Highland, will defend his seat against Democrat Kandee Myers and Forward Party candidate Wayne Woodfield. Brammer won the June 23 Republican primary with 57% of the vote, roughly 2,000 votes ahead of challenger Kelly Smith, according to KSL.

State School Board District 11

Republican Tracy J. Nuttall, an education attorney who won a tight primary by just 336 votes, faces Democrat Lacey Peterson. The multi-county district covers parts of Utah and Wasatch counties.

Two open county commission seats

Both Utah County Commission seats on the ballot are open. Incumbent Commissioners Brandon Gordon and Amelia Powers Gardner chose not to seek reelection.

For Seat A, former Provo Mayor Michelle Kaufusi won the Republican primary with 54% of the vote. She faces Democrat Jeanne Marie Bowen and Independent American Party candidate Jacob D. Oaks.

For Seat B, former Orem City Councilman David M. Spencer took the Republican primary with 42% in a three-way race. He faces Democrat J. Allen and Forward Party candidate David Hinckley.

County clerk

Lehi resident Corey Astill defeated incumbent Clerk Aaron Davidson in the June 23 Republican primary, drawing 55.3% of the vote. Astill faces Forward Party candidate Russ J. Rampton in November. "The reason I'm running is we need someone in this job who wants to do the job," Astill told the Daily Herald in a June 8 interview.

County Attorney Jeff Gray and Sheriff Mike Smith are both running unopposed as Republicans. Republican Gina Tanner faces Independent American Party candidate Hans V. Andersen for county auditor.

State House races

Voters' State House district depends on their precinct. District 52 pits incumbent Cory Maloy against Democrat Nicole Melling. District 53 features incumbent Kay J. Christofferson against Forward Party candidate John Boyd and Democrat Kevin R. Slater. In District 54, incumbent Kristen S. Chevrier faces Democrat Kristina Robinson. District 55 has incumbent Jon Hawkins against Democrat Travis Hysell.

Constitutional amendments

Amendment A would move publication of proposed constitutional amendments from newspapers to the Utah Public Notice Website and the Lieutenant Governor's website for 60 days before the election.

Amendment B would require citizen-proposed laws that raise taxes to win at least 60% voter approval instead of a simple majority.

Judicial retention

The ballot includes retention votes for Utah Supreme Court Justice Jill Pohlman, six Court of Appeals judges, five Fourth Judicial District Court judges and Utah County Justice Court Judge Kelton Shawn Patten. At the April 25 state convention, Utah Republican Party Chair Rob Axson urged delegates to vote against Justice Pohlman and Supreme Court Justice Diana Hagen, telling them to "go find a job in the private sector," Utah News Dispatch reported. Only Pohlman's retention appears on the Utah County ballot. Voters can review each judge's performance evaluation at judges.utah.gov.
