Lehi Pioneers senior first baseman Mya Maughan batted .521 with 53 RBI and eight home runs to earn Region 3 MVP honors, headlining the 2026 All-City softball team announced Tuesday, July 21. Maughan led or finished second in every major offensive category for the Pioneers, posting a team-high .589 on-base percentage and a 1.472 OPS across 49 hits, eight doubles, one triple, and 40 runs scored.
The 13-player squad features nine Pioneers and four Skyridge Falcons, the two largest selections from any program in the area.
Maughan also posted a .980 fielding percentage with 184 putouts, 12 assists, and four double plays.
"Mya was a great hitter, a terrific fielder and an outstanding teammate," Lehi head coach Tim Kennedy said.
Pioneers dominate selections
Junior left fielder Liv Davies hit .516 with 49 hits, 12 doubles, five home runs, 39 RBI, and a team-leading 19 stolen bases. Junior catcher Piper Emery batted .495 with a .995 fielding percentage, a mark she has held above .990 for three consecutive seasons behind the plate.
Senior center fielder Brynlee Cook drove in 40 runs with eight home runs and a .415 average. Junior outfielder Brinlee Skidmore matched that .415 clip with five homers and 14 stolen bases. Senior third baseman Libby Baxter, named comeback player of the season, hit .397 with five home runs and a 1.223 OPS.
On the mound, junior Abbi Harroun went 11-2 with a 2.69 ERA, 100 strikeouts, two no-hitters, and one perfect game after missing time to injury. Junior Claire Crutchfield carried the late-season load, posting an 8-3 record with a 2.25 ERA and six complete games across 59 innings.
Junior utility player Reese Taylor rounded out the Pioneers' honorees with 15 stolen bases and 41 runs scored.
Falcons bring the firepower
Skyridge senior shortstop Kaylie Power earned Most Inspirational Player honors after battling multiple injuries to hit .369 with 31 hits and 21 RBI. Falcons head coach Tyler Plewe called Power "the heart and soul of our team" who "leaves a great legacy with the Skyridge softball family."
Junior pitcher Callie Baker anchored the Falcons' staff with 100 innings pitched, eight wins, 100 strikeouts, and a .388 batting average. Junior center fielder Hudson Ford hit .495 with a .584 on-base percentage atop the lineup, collecting 13 doubles and 19 stolen bases.
Senior captain Maylee Walston capped her career with a .495 average, 51 hits, six home runs, and a 1.312 OPS. Sophomore right fielder Isabella Plewe contributed 32 RBI and four home runs while earning recognition as an elite defensive playmaker.
