The Lehi Pioneers football program has scheduled two preseason events for fans and families: a fundraising dinner and auction on Saturday, Aug. 1, and the annual Purple and White scrimmage games on Friday, Aug. 7.

The dinner begins at 6 p.m. in the Fieldhouse at Lehi High School, with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Tickets cost $15 per person or $50 for a family pack of four, purchased via QR code with no physical ticket needed.

Natalie Unga, co-chair of the Lehi Football Committee, said the theme is "Our Team, Our Town!" The menu features the Lehi Rodeo burger, chips, a drink and a Crumbl cookie.

Both a silent auction and a live auction will follow dinner. Silent auction items donated by local businesses include a weekend staycation package with Texas Roadhouse gift cards and a Hilton Garden Inn stay, four tickets to a Salt Lake Bees suite, a PlayStation controller with a College Football video game, Minky blankets, and gift cards to Swig, Raising Cane's, and Dick's Sporting Goods.

Auctioneer Steve Darling will run the live auction, where bidders can compete for an e-bike, a Traeger grill, BYU tickets to the Notre Dame game, a football signed by BYU Coach Kalani Sitake, half a cow of beef from Lewis Livestock, and Jazz and Mammoth signed memorabilia.

Purple and White games: Friday, Aug. 7

The following week, the Pioneers host their annual intrasquad scrimmage at Lehi High School. Sophomore games kick off at 5 p.m., with JV and varsity taking the field around 6:30 p.m.

A tailgate party runs from 3 to 6 p.m. featuring Hawaiian barbecue plates for $15 and additional local food vendors. Bounce houses will be set up for families, and a Meet & Greet gives fans a chance to meet the 2026 Pioneer players, coaches, cheerleaders and drill team members.

The Purple and White scrimmage is an annual tradition for the program. Last year's edition was held Friday, Aug. 8, 2025, one week before the Pioneers opened the regular season. Lehi went on to finish 7-2 in the regular season and earned a first-round bye in the 6A playoffs as the 10th seed.

The Pioneers compete in Class 6A Region 3 alongside Corner Canyon, Lone Peak, Skyridge and American Fork. The 2026 regular-season opener has not yet been announced.

"Bring your family, wear your purple and white, and let's support our teams," Unga said.
