Registration for the Lehi Rippy Literacy Center's fall ABC Pre-K program opened Monday, August 3, on the city's website. Spots are limited. Forms stay open only until classes fill.

The kindergarten-readiness program teaches letters and sounds to children who turn four by September 1, according to the city's August newsletter. Classes meet twice a week, 9:30–11:30 a.m., on either a Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday track at the center's Main location. The session runs August 26 through December 17.

New this fall: a $50 non-refundable materials fee for Lehi residents, due at registration. The Literacy Center said on its Facebook page that rising costs for supplies and educational materials prompted the change. Non-residents interested in the program should contact the center at 385-201-1060.

After-school reading and math sessions

New-student registration for the fall Reading and Math After-School Session will be held in person Monday, August 24, and Tuesday, August 25, from 3–5:30 p.m. at both the Main and Satellite locations. Students receive a short placement assessment at sign-up.

The after-school program serves Lehi students in kindergarten through fourth grade, with 45-minute reading and math classes twice a week. The fall session runs September 9 through November 1. Class times are 3 p.m. and 4 p.m. at the Satellite location, and 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. at Main.
