Alpine residents can still register for the Alpine Days 5K at a reduced rate before the price hits $30 on race day.

The annual race takes place Saturday, August 15, as part of Alpine's signature summer festival. Registration is $17 through Sunday, August 2, then $22 from Monday, August 3, through Thursday, August 13, according to Alpine City's official account on X. Walk-up registration on packet pick-up day (Friday, August 14) and race day costs $30. No t-shirt is included at any current tier.

America's 250th anniversary theme

Alpine Days 2026 carries the theme "Celebrating America's 250 Years of Freedom." Alpine City announced the patriotic tie-in on March 13, noting the t-shirt design contest would reflect the national milestone. Shelby Smith won that contest, and her winning design is printed on shirts available for $20 at Alpine City Hall while supplies last.

Full festival lineup

Alpine City announced on July 17 that registration was open for all Alpine Days events, directing residents to www.alpinedays.com for details. The eight-day festival runs Saturday, August 8, through Saturday, August 15, and includes the Fireman's BBQ, The Great Alpine Bake Off, Youth Kickball, Home Run Derby, Chalk the Walk, Kids' Storytime & Craft, Pickleball Tournament, Mountain Bike Race, Auto Show, and Disc Golf Tee Times.

Alpine City also warned residents in a June 11 post that Alpine Rodeo tickets were appearing on third-party sites with incorrect dates. All legitimate rodeo tickets are sold exclusively through www.alpinedays.com.
