Seventy-four athletes earned spots in the Lehi Pioneers girls soccer program after two days of tryouts wrapped up Tuesday, July 28, at the Football Stadium.

Head coach Jonas Hartmann posted the final roster on lehiathletics.com after tryouts concluded, listing jersey numbers for players who made the cut across varsity and sub-varsity squads. The posted numbers run from 1 through 74, with 38 distinct assignments filling out the program's depth chart for the fall 2026 campaign.

Tryouts ran both days from 8–10 a.m. and 2–4 p.m., according to the Lehi athletics tryout announcement. Athletes reported to the Football Stadium for all four sessions.

Hartmann leads the program alongside assistant coaches Steve Trejo and Monty Bergener. The three-coach staff will sort the 74-player group into varsity and sub-varsity lineups before competition begins Monday, August 3.

The roster does not include player names or positions, as Hartmann listed only jersey numbers in the official posting, so individual athlete identities and grade levels remain unconfirmed at this point.

Fall sports launch week

Girls soccer was far from the only Lehi program holding tryouts during the same window. Football opened mandatory practice Monday, July 27. Boys golf tried out Tuesday, July 28, through Wednesday, July 29, at Thanksgiving Point. Girls volleyball started Monday, July 27, and girls tennis ran Monday, July 27, through Wednesday, July 29.

The full slate feeds into a Monday, August 3, start to the fall high school sports season for both Lehi and Skyridge, according to Lehi Free Press. Outdoor teams launch early to complete their schedules before cold weather arrives. The first day of school is not until Wednesday, August 19.
