More than 500 handmade quilts will hang among the flowers, pathways, and trees of Thanksgiving Point's Ashton Gardens in Lehi when Garden of Quilts returns for its eighth year Wednesday, September 16, through Saturday, September 19, 2026.

The four-day festival, co-hosted by Thanksgiving Point and Riley Blake Designs, pairs an outdoor quilt exhibition with 80-plus classes, a free vendor marketplace, and evening events featuring named designers. Tickets are on sale.

Quilt exhibition

The outdoor exhibition opens Friday, September 18, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at Ashton Gardens, 3900 N. Garden Drive, Lehi. Quilts are displayed throughout the 50-acre gardens.

A two-day weekend pass costs $60 general admission or $18 for Thanksgiving Point members. A single-day pass is $35 general admission or $10 for members. Admission includes entry to Ashton Gardens, the quilt exhibitions, trunk shows, lectures, and demos but does not cover individual classes.

Classes

Classes run all four days, covering beginner sewing, advanced quilting, color theory, appliqué, machine quilting, and design. The event guide lists more than 80 sessions taught by quilt designers and educators.

Free vendor marketplace

The vendor marketplace at the Thanksgiving Point Show Barn, 2476 W. Sycamore Lane, Lehi, is free and requires no ticket. Hours are Friday, September 18, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, September 19, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Vendors sell fabric, patterns, sewing supplies, quilt kits, and handcrafted goods.

Evening events

Special gatherings include "An Evening with Joanna Figueroa" of Fig Tree & Co. on Wednesday, September 16 (doors at 5:30 p.m., show at 6:30 p.m., $50 per person); "Let's Make a Quilt," a 1950s-themed dinner and game show hosted by designers Amanda Niederhauser and Bev McCullough on Thursday, September 17 ($60 per person); and "Meet the Maker" on Friday, September 18 (doors at 6:30 p.m., $59 per person). Thanksgiving Point members receive a 10 percent discount on select events.

Afternoon Tea is available Friday and Saturday with seatings at noon, 12:30 p.m., and 1 p.m. under a clear-top tent in the Loggia Garden ($40 per person, 10 percent member discount).

Getting there

A free shuttle runs continuous loops through the gardens during the event. Manual wheelchairs are available to rent for $10, and accessible parking is provided.
